Women of St. Andrew

The WSA (Women of St. Andrew's) adopted two outreach projects this spring for schools in our immediate area.

1.  Pizza, cookies, & drinks for the 5th grade class @ Austin Elementary School.   

2.  A donation of $10 for each of the 51 graduates of the new Crosswinds High School in honor of their first graduating class.  With our $500 check they commissioned a large barbecue grill for use with faculty and for students, the latter to be taught how to cook on grills as well as providing special food for special occasions.   

They placed a large donor plaque on it and invited us to participate in its inaugural barbecue on June 4!  Everyone was very appreciative, and we had a great time:  Nancy Hughes, Sue Whatley, Cindy Cox, Jessica Davis, Verna Bargsley and Fr. Morse (not pictured) were treated and introduced to the principal, Craig Spears, two assistant principals, the counselor, Janet Plattner, and other faculty.
